Health & Safety

Central Car Auctions indoor auction hall and vehicle parks are extremely busy places of work and we would ask you to take care when visiting.

Please be aware of both motor cars entering and exiting the auction hall and large transporters loading and unloading vehicles.

With over 2,000 vehicles passing through our auction hall each week, for your own safety please do not walk between moving vehicles.

All persons under the age of 16 years must be under the direct supervision of an adult.

Any person under the age of 16 will not be allowed entry if unsupervised or cannot prove their age if asked to do so.

A maximum speed limit of 5mph is in force throughout the external areas of the site, with a similar maximum speed limit of 5mph inside the auction hall.

Only Central Car Auction employees may start vehicle engines and or lift bonnets prior to being offered for sale.

Similarly, only Central Car Auction staff may move vehicles towards the main auction area and then forward to the parking bays.

No dogs are allowed on site except guide dogs.

In the event of the fire alarm sounding please make your way to the fire evacuation point, which is clearly identified.

In the unlikely event of an auction hall evacuation, do not stop to collect any personal belongings and do not return to the building until told to do so by the senior person in charge.

Observe all NO SMOKING signs at all times.

Thank you for your assistance in keeping Central Car Auctions as safe an environment as possible. We hope you enjoy your visit and wish you happy bidding.
