Frequently asked questions

How will I be paid for my stock?

Once your vehicle has sold, we’ll send your payment out by cheque promptly to ensure you receive your earnings as soon as possible.

How does the reserve price work?

The reserve price is the minimum amount that you will accept for the vehicle you’re selling. You’ll choose a reserve price when listing your vehicle with us.

What if the reserve price isn’t met?

If the vehicle does not meet the reserve price, it can be relisted in a future auction at either the same price or a lower reserve price if you prefer. If a bidder comes very close to the reserve price, we may accept a provisional bid and discuss a price that both parties agree on.

What’s the best way to choose a reserve price?

We recommend choosing a reserve price based on the current market value of the vehicle and sale prices for recently sold vehicles that are similar in make, model, year, grade and mileage.

What happens after my vehicle is sold at auction?

Once your vehicle has been sold, we will liaise with the buyer to organise payment and transportation where applicable, and you will receive a cheque with your payment.

What support do you provide to vendors?

To help your car sell, our account managers will ensure that buyers who may be interested are aware that the stock will be on sale. We also use data-driven marketing to ensure that the right stock gets in front of the right buyers.
